“A love letter”
March 8th reminds us of something we celebrate every day in this office: the immense value of women in the professional sphere.
In the construction industry, for decades, women have had to carve out space in a world that was not always designed for them. They have challenged stereotypes, overcome invisible (and very real) barriers, and time and again have proven their power to transform not only the spaces we inhabit, but also the way we conceive, design, and build them.
Being a female founder and CEO of an architecture firm is often a multilayered experience. It’s thrilling and exhausting. It’s about leading, taking risks, solving problems, and at the same time, navigating internal doubts and external pressures. There is no perfect path, no magic formula—just the will to keep going, to learn, to grow, and to trust in yourself, especially when it feels hardest.
Within our team, I have the privilege of working alongside exceptional women. Women who are brilliant professionals and generous human beings. They bring clarity, intuition, discipline, and sensitivity to both creative and technical processes. They understand the value of listening and collaborating. They build, regenerate, and connect.
The presence of women in creative fields like architecture not only elevates the quality of our work but it also directly influences the way we understand and shape the world around us. It leads to better decisions, greater creativity, and a deeper understanding of what our clients and communities need.
When a young girl sees a woman leading, designing, questioning, creating—she sees a possibility for her own future. She sees a role model. That’s why more women in creative industries means more opportunities for all. And more social impact, too—because the spaces we inhabit and design are powerful tools for shaping culture, promoting equity, and building a more just society.
To all the women who have been part of this journey: thank you.
And to Jeannette, Natalia, Mariana, Camila, María Jesús, and Mariela—thank you for your commitment, your energy, your intelligence, your warmth, and your vision.

“Una carta de amor”
El 8 de marzo nos recuerda algo que en esta oficina celebramos todos los días: el inmenso valor de las mujeres en el mundo del trabajo.
En la industria de la construcción, durante décadas, las mujeres han tenido que abrirse paso en un terreno que no siempre fue diseñado para ellas. Han desafiado estereotipos, han superado barreras invisibles (y otras muy concretas), y han demostrado, una y otra vez, su capacidad de transformar no solo los espacios que habitamos, sino también la forma en que los concebimos, diseñamos y construimos.
Ser fundadora y CEO de una firma de arquitectura siendo mujer es, muchas veces, un ejercicio de múltiples capas. Es apasionante y agotador. Es liderar, tomar riesgos, resolver, y al mismo tiempo, navegar dudas internas y presiones externas. No hay una ruta perfecta, ni fórmulas mágicas: solo la voluntad de seguir adelante, aprender, crecer, y confiar en una misma, incluso cuando parece difícil.
En nuestro equipo, tengo el privilegio de trabajar junto a mujeres excepcionales. Mujeres que son profesionales brillantes y humanas generosas. Que aportan claridad, intuición, rigor y sensibilidad a los procesos creativos y técnicos. Que entienden el valor de escuchar y de colaborar. Que construyen, regeneran, conectan.
La presencia de mujeres en campos creativos como la arquitectura no solo eleva la calidad del trabajo que hacemos. También influye directamente en cómo entendemos y habitamos el mundo. Es una apuesta por mejores decisiones, por más creatividad, por una comprensión más profunda de lo que necesitan nuestros clientes y nuestras comunidades.
Cuando una joven ve a una mujer liderando, diseñando, creando, cuestionando, está viendo una posibilidad para su propio camino. Está viendo un modelo. Por eso, más mujeres en las industrias creativas significa más oportunidades para todas. Y también, más impacto social: porque los espacios que habitamos y diseñamos son una herramienta poderosa para transformar la cultura, promover la equidad y construir una sociedad más justa
A todas las mujeres que han sido parte de este viaje: gracias.
